Let’s come together to socialize without a specific agenda. Most social events are for the whole family including our children. By hearing parents speak their own languages to their children, we intend to make our children proud to be speaking an additional language.

Meet others to find encouragement and get new ideas! Friendly and casual face to face meetings for current and future parents who are members of the network (click here to join now – it’s free). We share experiences and discuss issues, receive an update on the latest language resources in Dubai and learn about one new topic in depth (e.g. Why is the brain more ready to learn languages at certain age periods ?). Meetings are every first Wednesday morning from 10-12am and every second Wednesday evening from 7-9pm. All members are invited via email. Parents who come to the support network meetings might not have much knowledge yet about how to raise their children with several languages or they might have extensive knowledge but want to hear other people’s experiences or build confidence to act on their knowledge and persevere with their chosen strategy. Many parents simply want to meet others in similar situations or find new language opportunities.

Develop your personal action plan for success ! This workshop is about how your children become fluent in a second language, when to start, what to do and not to do and how to do it best. The 3 hour workshop provides you all the basic knowledge to be successful with raising your bi-lingual children. Participants will leave the workshop with a specific action plan based on their personal family situation. And the good news is even with primary school age children it is not too late to start Workshops run mornings 9-12am or evenings 7-10pm at various locations. Pre-booking is essential.
