Thanks Caroline, Friday, 28 September 2007
Our family has just arrived in Geneve Switzerland (French speaking part of Switzerland). I wanted to say how happy I was with Carolines French Club (held at my house before I moved). It was a great help to my children. They have settled into French schools here very well.
Really great club.
Thanks Caroline

Not so happy, Wednesday, 14 March 2007
I have both my daughters in the Al Barsha campus of Al Mawakeb. We chose this school because it is taught in French and English and Arabic. I have had such trouble with the school. The teaching methods are pre-historic. Their canteen is Round table Pizza!!!! And I have had troubles with other children harrassing my 3 year old on the bus (supervised bus!!!).
Put it this way - I have just had the kids accepted into Safa school and I will stick to the after school activities for French!. Dissapointing disaster. When is there going to be a bilingual school opened in this city??????

Great little french singin classes with games too.
Holly is great. My 5 year old has been attending as an introduction to French and has enjoyed it. It is more for 2-4 year olds but she didn't seem to mind.

My daughter attends Mon Ecole. Maha - who runs the school is very strict and serious about her school. The teachers are lovely. Fresh and HEALTHY food is given (and promoted) within the school. Our family are English speakers only, so at report time they verbally translate the report for us. They are great and very helpful. Location - EXCELLENT. The classrooms are good and the very young children (under 2 years) are in a separate building accross the small road.)
