What is it like in Dubai these days ? - 2009/04/01 00:17
Hi everyone,

almost 9 months after leaving Dubai for the Alpine Mountains at the border of Germnay and Austria, I wonder how Dubai has changed. Well, I guess the whole world has changed in the last months, but how are things different in Dubai ?
And how does that affect the children and their language journey ?
I realize that here in the Alps there are of course fewer families who raise bilingual children, although the number is raising There are more and more who move here. A Canadian/German couple, a French/British couple, a Spanish/German couple a Spanish/Spanish couple and an Austrian/British couple have all moved here within the last months. I also meet lots of Brasilians, Italians and Turks. Thank God for the internationality! I think every region benefits from an international community.
So let me know how Dubai has changed ! THANKS A LOT.
