This was also the first time we talked about a topic that was no directly related to languages. Looking forward to your views and suggestions for the future. Silke Passionately Multilingual ! Location wise, it is a nice place but quite hard to reach in the evening (traffic + parking). Gini The administrator has disabled public write access. |

I know we are a group of people who are particularly interested in languages for our children, but ultimately, we are all parents!
While disscussing the topic "Time-Management" and sharing ideas helped us as parents trying to juggle all our children's sporting & creative activities, there was still room to apply that to languages, and how to fit them (as an added load for families who want to bring their children up bi/tri lingually) into our children's already full schedules.
It certainly made me go home thinking about my priorities, and coming up with some new ideas of my own.
The location was good for me. The place was great and t, but a little noisy in the morning (lots of children)! However, as we were a relatively small group, we were still able to hear each other well.
I'd go there again if it was conventient for people who want to bring their children along. The administrator has disabled public write access. |

I was happy to meet other cultural/ national/linguistic mixed families’ members and to learn about their experience to raise multilingual kids. The topic did perfect sense, gave me ideas, and also made me evaluate my day to day activity to find if there is a “leakage” of time. Location is fine for me personally. All in all it was wonderful evening, and I am already looking forward for the next one. The administrator has disabled public write access. |

My husband and I are sharing a car and taking a taxi from the Green community to the location would have been a bit too pricy and a bit too much for my 10months old who doesn't like driving much. Would be great if the next meeting could be more towards Mall of Emirates.... The administrator has disabled public write access. | |
