How often is your toddler off sick? - 2007/10/05 13:21

Just wanted to hear from other Mums with toddlers: How often is your child off sick? My nearly 3 year old daughter (who started nursery at the age of 23 months) seems to miss a lot of days from nursery because she's off sick. On average, she has a week off every month. She is absolutely fine though during holidays.

The doctors told me that this is a common side effect to going to nursery early (especailly in Dubai).

Just wanted to hear from all of you: Do you have the same problem? Is my daughter in the worng nursery? Or she is just not happy going to nursery at that age?

Hiya, Flaxseed.

My daughter was off sick for about a week every month too, when she went to nursery last year. It was just so frustrating.

I've stopped working and so she's been at home and healthy for the past few months.

I can't say about your daughter though, how do you feel about the nursery and what are her reactions?

I'll just have to find her an alternative way of mixing with other children..
