Have you seen the movie "An inconvenient truth ?" It is about Al Gore presenting the FACTS about global warming. You will see which countries will be under water in a few years and how Europe is heading to an ice age in only a few decades...I saw it on the airplane yesterday and I was so shocked and concerned. Just got round to watching it! But better late than never.
I think everyone should watch this DVD. Everyone of us "CAN" make a difference. Use energy efficient bulbs and appliances, don't waste resources, walk instead of driving if you can, and recycle. More importantly show your children that you are responsible adults who not only care about securing housing, education and funds for their future, but also care about leaving them with a nice and better world to live in.
How would you feel if you thought you are guilty of contributing to the pollution in this world and that you are leaving your children and grandchildren with a huge environmental debt!?
I have been writing a lot to a local newspaper regarding recycling, and would love to hear from anybody who can help -either practically or with ideas!
The DVD is available now, by the way, in Virgin. All the profits from sales go to a good cause.

Even if you are 'not convinced' by the scientific arguemnts, it makes sense- moral and economic sense- to stop waste and to be careful with what we are doign. We are putting tonnes of chemicals into a closed system. It doesn't take a scientist to realise that something bad will happen!!
