English Teacher at age 8 ?

Hi. Just a short message today: Chiara's German class is starting English lessons this year, which - for Chiara - are obviously useless. After all, she has attended English schooling all her life so far and just finished year 3 at JESS in Dubai. So I had a chat with the headteacher of Chiara's new German school and unfortunately, she pointed out that Chiara was required to attend the English lessons (beginnner's English !) as it was part of the curriculum. At first I was very worried that Chiara might get truly bored, but then we came up with a solution: Chiara is becoming the assisting teacher for English. I shared this idea with her and luckily she loved it ! In fact, she is really excited. So, now we will see how it works. English teacher at age 8..........I will keep you posted.
